Recycled Glass Earrings

Kathleen Plate, the talented artist behind Smart Glass Jewelry, has always loved to create beautiful things.  One of Kathleen’s gifts is understanding the strengths of different tools and techniques, and then using them for new applications. As a graduate student and in need of a gift for a friend’s birthday, Kathleen made a pair of earrings out of glass, applying her unique perspective. The earrings were a total success and so, the path began!

Gold Seaglass Style Simple Earrings-

We love seaglass so we decided to give our popular earrings a seaglass style finish in our studio. Made from the necks of recycled bottles, each circle is approximately 1 inch in diameter and finished with gold fill french hooks. Perfect and simple for everyday wear. Simple and stunning, two waves of glass play off each other. Light and easy to wear, glass is approximately 1 inch to 1.5 inches in diameter. 14K gold fill ear wires. Patented.
